Connecticut has won the Summit Award!
Every year, the CTSRC submits for the AARC Summit Award. The award is given out
by the AARC for outstanding service to the field of Respiratory Care through
public information, educational or legislative activities, and affiliate
activities attended by or presented by Respiratory Therapists within the state.
The Summit Award is based on points gathered by the affiliate in each of 5
areas: public relations, education, legislative issues, affiliate activities,
and /or membership to the AARC. learn more

Our Mission
As a non-profit affiliate of the American Association for Respiratory Care, the mission of the Connecticut Society for Respiratory Care is to positively represent the profession by:
- Advocating and promoting safe patient care.
- Providing forums for Respiratory Care Practitioners to maintain awareness of important issues relative to the profession.
- Providing continuing education for Respiratory Care and other Healthcare Professionals.
