PACT in Washington DC
On February 6th and 7th (2006) Jeff Borges, Frank Salvatore and I attended the AARC’s Political Advocacy Contact Team (PACT) meeting in Washington D.C. The purpose of this annual meeting is to bring together respiratory therapists from across the U.S. and have us “storm” the Capitol en masse to advocate for our patients and our profession. Mandatory CRCE Requirement for Respiratory Care Licensure.
The Connecticut State Department of Public Health, in conjunction with the
CTSRC, has revised our respiratory licensure practice act to include mandatory
continuing respiratory education credits. Read more.
